Follicular Unit Transplantation, also known as the strip method, is a surgical hair restoration technique that has been honed and perfected over the years. The procedure involves carefully extracting a narrow strip of hair-bearing tissue from the donor area, typically located at the back or sides of the scalp, where hair is genetically resistant to balding. Skilled surgeons dissect this strip into individual follicular units, comprising one to four hairs each. These units are meticulously transplanted into tiny incisions in the recipient area, where hair loss or thinning occurs.
